Two years ago I had my four wisdom teeth extracted then braced for 15 months. Now my face is thinner, chin retruded, sunken and flat face, even my eyes look smaller.
I also started to have problem with respiration from the nose.
Is there anything I can do to reverse the results?
    I m 35 yo

Have family & friends commented negatively on your appearance?
Were you treated by a general dentist or by a specialist orthodontist?
Have you before & after photographs?
Have you seen a GP or ENT specialist with regards to the facial changes & respiratory issues?
Tens of thousands of people every year have wisdom teeth extracted& orthodontic treatment afterwards. What you've described sounds very unusual.

Yes some people that hadn't seen for long time, and I recently met , asked me what happened to my face.
I was treated by a specialist orthodontist. Plus I had seen other specialist before him looking for more advices.
But now I know that teeth extractions is the worse thing to do to a mouth. In any case.
Wisdom teeth don't cause crowding. If there's no space for all the teeth you have to expand palate and jaw. Yes it can be possible. Not extract teeth.
I'm going to ask my orthodontist if he can give me the pictures and the study of me before and after.
I'm afraid I can't reverse it. Wisdom teeth can't be replaced.

With respect, extractions don't tend to cause the issues you are reporting. I had 4 teeth out and braces and no such ill effects. You cant expand the jaw or palate of an adult without surgery and its generally not recommended. That is something done while a child is growing and the palate hasn't yet fused together. Your issues here are not related to braces or wisdom tooth extractions

This sounds just like regular ageing?
I'm early 30s and have noticed my cheekbones getting more pronounced with age which means the rest of my face is actually just thinner and losing volume.
Hard to tell without seeing photos of you.

    Hows your health generally?
Has anything else happened to you since you got the teeth out which might explain the changes?
Have you changed anything in your life? Exercise, diet, drugs?

I think sometimes when you get extractions at the back of mouth your cheeks can sort of sink.

No, nada, nope, not buying that one.......

There is plenty of mucosa, gland, fat, muscle, bone and skin to give the face shape. The loss of a back tooth does not affect this atall.

The loss of a few front teeth can result in the loss of lip support and give and aged appearance....

The loss of wisdom teeth does not do this....

Fair enough. I was just speaking anecdotally, having witnessed it myself due to multiple extractions at the back (severe periodontal disease)

Yeah, I had 8 teeth out and am as gorgeous as ever.

Sounds like you should go visit your GP to be assessed for underlying health conditions.

There are many simple and some serious health reasons why your face can lose shape and "hollow", none of them associated with wisdom tooth removal nor braces. Simple causes are weight loss, smoking, anorexia/bulimia, serious causes may be cancer, drug use, immune system diseases etc. If this has happened over a short period, you need to visit your GP.
