    Hi

I test drove the x1 today and am strongly thinking of purchasing it. Any views on this car?

I'm trading in my VW Passatt 1.4 TSI

They are not great, small enough on the inside being based on the 1 Series. Most of the them are poorly speced and quality of the interior is a bit of a letdown for a premium brand. Then you have the risk that comes with the well documented timing chain problems. If you're looking for a compact SUV then a VW Tiguan would be a better buy imo especially since you're already in a VW. Another alternative would be a Skoda Yeti.
