Twitter I'd say would be the best, if you are on it.

Eventually managed to get through on their office number, was told to give it an hour and my issue would be dealt with, that was 48 hours ago. The 1800 number on their website gets me through to UK Nationwide Ireland :pac: and after an initial prompt reply on twitter a follow up query was dealt with 26 hours later. Unbelievable or is it?

I hear ya.wanted to ask some simple questions wrt booking a seat for infant, found it so difficult to talk to anyone.as someone advised twitter was useful,I got the answer there, but AL really should do something like live chat,or give some idea how long you would be on hold to their helpline...

The FAQ section on aerlingus.com is also good...

It's par for the course unfortunately.

I've been a member of their frequent flyer program since 2008 & there's been a gargantuan fall off in the levels of customer service provided since Stephen Kavanagh took over as CEO. After years & years of unnecessarily pissing folks off, Ryanair upped their game & started to engage with customers as any good operation should. It now seems EI have very deliberately made a decision to head in the opposite direction.

Website helpdesk is 01-8868505, though the company's IT is a mess and there are countless reports similar to the issue you've experienced, all over social media.
