Hi, I've been wanting to get into accounting for a few years now and fortunately there was a position open at work and for the past 2 years I've been doing the books and while I love it I feel that it's time to continue with my studies. So far all I have is Bookkeeping qualification which is only level 5 but I have gained a lot of experience just not qualifications . I can only do part time courses but just wondering which do I go for? and how difficult to F1 F2 F3 by myself .

    Thanks

I dont know much about ATI to be honest so i'll speak to ACCA.

F1-4 are multiple choice and fairly easy on your own. Rest of F's a little harder but again doable on your own. P's are different story. Take the courses as there are ways that the examiner wants the answers to be structured.

Opentuiton.com\acca will become a great help if you choose ACCA as is Free but great notes and online lectures.

You could get finished in 3-4 years with hard work or shorter if you are a little crazy!!!

Thanks for the info. I'll have to check out opentuition and see.I just don't want to waste time and money on something that is doable to do in my own time.Trying move job and finding it impossible to get an interview therefore I was thinking stick out my current job while try and study in my free time.
I'm crazy but not that crazy :)

Ok so I think its looking like I'm going to give opentuition a go and see how I get on . Also just wondering if i was to look for a job what job title would I be looking for? As I cant find bookkeeping in my area and I'm under qualified for an accountant assistant
