    Hi All
New to all this but find it great.
Trying to load sky FTA ( no card !!! ) using the sky dish, it has two connectors. (Had to work around for right one )box works o.k. Using the Remote switches the TV settings. i.e AV1 to AV2 and locks up. using the manual buttons on box is the only way to change stations. a long way from 104 to 500 etc!!!
I am 78 and still up for the challenge !! any help appreciated.
    Regards
    Russ

Your Sky Remote should have buttons to change the operation of the remote from Sky to TV.

Press the Sky button and it should stop changing the TV settings (except maybe the volume).

The Sky remote control is kind of two remote controls in one.

When you press the 'TV' button on the remote (top left button) the remote controls your TV and this is where you can change inputs.

When you press the 'Sky' button (top center button) the remote controls your sky box.

If the remote is not changing the channels on the Sky box for you, try pressing the 'Sky' button and trying again.

Couple of things to try if it is still not working:
    • Try using a fresh set of batteries in the remote
    • Check your remote on another sky box
    • Check the remote from another Sky box on your box

    Good luck :D
