Do baggage fees fluctuate up AND down
Or once they go up do they stay up ?

Flying to Spain mid June and 15kg bag is now 90 euro :(
Was 50 2 weeks back but I never got around to booking it
Interested the 20kg bag is 88 euro which makes no sense !

Had originally planned on trying to go with just our 10kg baggage allowance but the wife bought a load of toiletries !

90 euro would buy a lot of toiletries in Spain tbh.

Someone posted a few days ago that the baggage prices on the app were cheaper than the website - maybe try that?

Think it was a glitch rather than a policy, but might be worth checking out.

Otherwise, as suggested above, buy the stuff over there!

thats crazy I just checked the app for a 15kg bag to spain at the end of june and its 60 euro on the app but 90 euro on the website, also I dont understand why ryanair would want to increase baggage costs as they should be trying to encourage people to check their luggage because of all the hassle trying to find room for the carry on bags

Ryanair used increase (double!) their baggage fees for summer flights to the big sunshine destinations and their baggage charges to the Canaries used to be always at the higher price. Not sure if they still do but that could also be a reason.

A cheapo package deal would probably work out cheaper. Just don't bother with the hotel/apartment!

Depends where you want to go though...

I'm going to Tenerife the first week in February. Unfortunately I didn't book my bag in at time of booking. It's now coming up as costing me €80 (total cost) to check in my bag- 20kg. Seems that if I'd paid at the time of booking the flight I would have only been charged €50.Is there any way around this so I could get the checked bag at the original price?
