    Was that on Saturday???

Jebus. I was out on the road bike for 4 hours Saturday morning and it literally didn't stop spilling rain on us from start to finish. Absolutely MANKY day :(.

Probably a bit of craic if you're mud-plugging though.

Race was today afaik (I wasn't there sadly); practice was Friday & Saturday with different stages for each day of practice.

I did not realise this was on this weekend. It's a pity it closed with another big cycling event.

The racing was today free practice Fri/Sat

The visitors definitely saw both sides of Carrick and she bares her teeth for the race. There were some good spills. One girl from KMBC was taken off to hospital afaik.

Great to see the crowds out supporting and what an event for Ireland to host.

Unlucky for Greg not to make it 3 in a row.

Was gutted to see he didn't bring it on home; three in a row at home on top of winning round 3 in Madeira would have been something else.

Heard rumours it's moving next year somewhere else in Ireland possibly Northern Ireland. I hope not it's seems perfect there.

The EWS hold a challenger event on the Saturday, for anyone wishing to sign up, they can run 4 of the 6 stages on offer, two club mates took part and said it was seriously slippy with all the rain on Saturday, and seeing the course today for myself it wouldn't be for the feint of heart.

Great day all the same though, Greg didn't have the best day on the bike but stay's in the lead in the championship, was well worth the 3 hour drive down to see it, and as fans we showed our appreciation to the guys and girls in the loudest way possible.

Got two good shots of the big man in action, but mostly spent the day chilling and enjoying the show.
