I did a search for this but only found old threads. Who is the best broadband provider in Athenry? Is the choice still limited to Eir/Voda/Sky?

There's 100mb in Athenry now and a multitude of providers.

I went with Eir simply because I'm old enough to have gone through every upgrade from 56k days and I learned my lesson in terms of providers blaming the network and the network blaming the provider when something goes wrong. I had a month of long calls to Eir to get them to come fix several issues but it's sorted now. Once my Eir contract is up, I'll be dropping them and going with the better value options

You can go with LTE but only 1 provider afaik
