Poll: Should TV3 axe Xposé?

I couldn't post a poll on the earlier thread so I made the poll here.

Aaaaand with the halfway stage of voting upon us, it looks like the majority of you voters agree with me that 3 should do the right thing and axe the show.

That is an underwhelming 6.6% of viewers, of which just over half agreed with you.

I don't think that TV3 will be unhappy with the outcome.

They must be ashamed of the show though. Awful stuff.

If shame was in TV3's DNA they wouldn't bother turning on the lights in the morning. It's cheap TV, something that's sadly the bedrock of many TV stations out there. Someone must be tuning in, otherwise they'd axe it.

I voted Yes, but only because I feel Xposé should never have made it to the air in the first place.

Even when it began in 2007, it was the wrong kind of trashy. And it has always been capable of messing up, too - Lorraine Keane left in acrimonious circumstances after barely two years, and much effort was put into Total Xposure only for Sean Munsanje to not last very long.

Needless to say, things have only gotten worse over time. But the show's still there, because it's relatively cheap to produce and because it still appeals to its target audience despite everything.

I agree with Brian T that TV3 won't be unhappy with the results of this poll. And I disagree that 53% is an "overwhelming" percentage - anything above 70% might be, but 53% wouldn't even be enough to elect the Pope...

Overwhelming was a lazy choice of wording. But it's a majority anyway.
