10k - 3yrs - medium risk

    The Mrs is trading up her car on PCP.
    To stay within the terms of the 3 yr 0% offer, she'll be getting a refund on her trade in.
    At the end of 3 years there's a final payment to be made.

    Rather than let the refund slip into regular savings where it could ebb away over time, I'm suggesting she locks away for 3 years so she keeps her options open at the end of the PCP term.

    Any thoughts on a product or strategy that could return a moderate ROI with medium risk over 3 years for 10k.

    Your best bet would be a locked in account for fixed duration like BoI or other banks offer; only thing to be careful about is to make sure the end date if it is by the time you need the money.
