Xanthelasma removal

    Hi all .I have really bad xanthelasma .it is very embarrassing and my confidence is at a complete zero now .I am looking to find out were to get them removed .there is not much information anywhere .my doctor was not much help he suggested I just cover with make-up .. if any one could advise me on this I would be very grateful .thank you .

    An eye surgeon who specialises in oculoplastic surgery can remove it for you. Your GP can refer you. Public waiting list would be quite long as it is not a sight-saving procedure. If you go private you would be sorted fairly quickly, but I don't know what the cost is or if it's covered by insurance.
