Does anyone know when the new nokia 3310 will go on sale in ireland and how much will it cost?

It's being released in the Uk already and unlocked versions are available. That being said, there are counterfeit versions doing the rounds. Be careful if you're buying off Ebay or the likes.

Just to fill you in.

Carphone Warehouse UK opened a presale and their allocation shot out the door. They've no set release date planned, but expect July 29th.

Carphone Warehouse Ireland also have allocated stock, currently sitting in Fonua, but it's not released as they've not been given a date or authorised release for it.
I couldn't wait longer for a dumb phone for an elderly relative, so ended up buying an Alcatel for them.

But, as a previous poster said, beware of fakes.

Still on pre-order and the price of it,You will not be able to use whatsapp.

Its bloody pricey for what it is. Probably useing the old Symbian os. Ths single sim was guided at €49 for Europe when it was launched a few months ago:mad:.

The 49 quid price is out the window but wait for argos they wil have the dual sim

My problem with mobile phone companies is that very few of them offer basic packages to make calls. They also seems to be very little competition between them.

A lot of people who don't use data are paying for packages with it.

Hi I have this ordered from click.ie
It was to be a father's day gift and they said it would arrive the following Friday. So rang last Thursday and they said it's been delayed for a further 2 weeks. Offered to cancel my order but I said no. Will sit it out and see.

Got one for my dad when I was in London a few weeks ago. While the battery life is impressive its not as user friendly as the original Nokia's, I don't think I'd get it again if I had the decision back.

Just a heads up Argos had them up today for reservation and collection on Monday. Well for my chosen store anyway. I have reserved one of each colour, the grey and navy. The reservation email said I will receive another email or text when it arrives in

They aren't available from any of the phone stores at the moment. Plenty of Chinese fakes doing the rounds alright.
It was supposed to be released in Ireland on 2nd August ? The phone stores are just reserving orders at the min...
