    Hi All.

We let our 3 year old on a galaxy tablet now and again but he's figured out how to download free apps! even finding the play store apps!

it's not that funny cause we can't turn our back without him installing 30 Peppa pig apps

The worry is not expense as it's all free apps he downloads.

Any way of password blocking the app store app to block access?

I use Screentime for that - www.screentimelabs.com - it's possible to restrict the apps that can be used, including the Play Store. You can also use it to restrict time per day, and reward good behaviour/chores by granting extra time. It's €33 per year, and you can have multiple "parent" devices and multiple "child" devices.

If you don't want to pay after the free trial, have a look at creating a restricted profile - https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/3175031?hl=en

A simple free app from the play store like applock will do this for you.you can choose what apps, including the playstore itself,to lock with a pin or pattern lock
