I've just had a very expensive full service and a air con regas about 3 weeks ago.

The wife mainly uses the car but today I noticed there's hot air coming out of the vents when I set the set point low.

    Is this a botch job??

    You may have a leak...?
Did they do a leak test on the system before they recharged it...?

Did it work when it was done after the service?

No they'll just fill it with the required amount of gas.

Then you've a leak. A good air con place can check the system for leaks, but sometimes it takes a long look to find the issue.
