There's a steam train trip from Connolly to Howth this Sunday morning.

It arrives around 11 and goes back around 2. I'm planning to go out and have a look but wondering if the train will normally stay at the station for this time? Want to figure out whether I need to be there on time or can wait.

    Thanks.

There's actually 3 trains operating - 10.30/12.47/15.30 ex Connolly (steam), with 11.25/13.35/16.35 returns ex Howth (diesel).

Oh. So I'm getting that the steam engine doesn't stick around for long in Howth? Just trying to get an idea on when the steam train will be out in howth. Was planning to make a morning of it and spend some time there, get breakfast, walk around etc. - but the main plan being to see the trains.

Why not travel on it on the day? Tickets on sale here; maybe there are a few left.
