Vostok deliveries from Meranom going missing

Has anyone ordered a watch from Meranom in the last while? I've just had a third delivery disappear into a black hole.

The last entry in the tracking system is "Ireland DUB, Carrier processing, Carrier surrenders control/custody to consignee or agent". I assume this means the item was delivered to Ireland, but not yet accepted into An Post's system.

Has anyone else seen this? One of them has been in this state since 6th May.

    thanks

    That's a bit worrying.
Not had a similar expereince, but would be interested to know what's going on.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

That's just Vlad taking his 5% of everything in Russia. His agents are everywhere. Don't worry the next shipment will probably arrive in time :p

I had the same problem waited almost two months! the day after I rang An Post giving out about it, the package arrived. They had told me they hadn't got it.

This is the first (three) times this has happened. I've ordered many watches from Meranom and Vostok directly. Usually the holdup is in Russia!

I am going to go to the GPO after work to see what I can do.

Yep, same has happened to me since the start of the year. In general it's off the radar for 2-4 weeks and then pops up in the An Post system.

I spoke to An Post customer service and they advised that I contact the sender (Meranom) to start an investigation with Russia Post but based on your experience I'll wait a bit longer. It's weird though, last year the hold up was with the parcels bouncing around Russian customs!

    thanks!

Although the tracking indicates it's been passed to An Post with the "Ireland DUB" tracking entry, based on the example of mine below, it's still in transit from Russian Post.

I had the same problem with Meranom. I even sent an email complaining. He sent back a brief reply to the tune of don't get your knickers in a twist, and it arrived the week after that. 5 weeks after order was sent from Russia. Apparently 4 of those weeks were spent in the Russian postal system.

Unfortunately, a package bouncing around the Russian postal for 3 or 4 months is not unknown.

Meranom have never let me down. Hopefully my watches will get delivered soon.

Unfortunately the 090 was dead on arrival. The 150 is interesting because it has a stainless steel bezel and crown as standard, for the same cost as the other classic Amphibians.

I'll send the 090 back, might get back a repaired model by Christmas :-)

So consensus is not to worry? Watch will be delivered later than expected?

I bought my first amphibia from Meranom on the 2nd of October. Last tracking says:

    14/09/17
Ireland DUB, Carrier processing, Carrier surrenders control/ custody to consignee or Agent.

According to Russia Post it was already delivered to Ireland on the 14th, but it left Saint Petersburg on the 12th. I doubt it only took two days to arrive to Ireland? Contacted An Post but they don’t have any record of it.

I hate for a watch to take so long to arrive, onlay for the fact, a watch that’s in the post for over a month has a higher chance of being damaged in transit.

Also I went for an se model, so it’s not like I’m just out €45.
