Heat genie

    Hey, I have a heat genie system link in a house that I bought but its letting water out the drain constantly just wondering if anyone knows anything about them and why this happens?? Thanks!!!

    There is a safety valve on the heat genie that has a probe on it that connects near the back boiler and opens when there is excess heat at the back boiler
    It allows the heat genie to cool as the heat was to excessive.
    The safety valve might need to be replaced or turn the top the safety valve to see if that closes it.
    But I'd be more concerned why it opened in the first place

    Thanks for your help I'll have a look at that,,, but there must be something as you said faulty or set up wrong because the water temp is set between 60 and 70

    Yes there is something amiss with the set up either the pumps aren't coming on when they should be because of incorrect wiring or the heat genie is too far away from the boiler or air locked.
    How long was it installed?
