Subsoil Waste Used for New House Construction

    I am working in the construction industry and the company I work with are currently building a house. There is a big garden, and we require a lot of subsoil fill for the garden to bring it up to level.

    Just in relation to the environmental issue, does the person that is giving us the subsoil require a waste permit?

    Also, do we, receiving:) the subsoil, require any kind of permit?

    All the subsoil will be inert waste.

    Any help will be appreciated!

    So it's just sub soil for the garden. You're not building a house on sub soil Shirley.
    If it's clean sub soil it's a product you're buying, hardly waste. And it's being reused not disposed of.
    Lot's of people buy soils for their garden. Buy it, 1.00 a load.
