    Hi All,

Flying to Girona for a week at the end of September with 2 kids.  Was considering camping/cabin in a campsite somewhere near the coast.

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on where to go and stay.

Kids are 1 and 3 so nightlife is way down the list:)

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Cheers

Portaventura which is South of Barcelona and probably technically not Costa Brava would be good for kids.
At that time of year most of the larger CB towns like Lloret won't be as busy. That said the likes of Lloret is more of a pub scene anyway.
I like Tossa de Mar. It's pretty and has nice restaurants, a lovely beach and is close to the amenities eg waterpark of Lloret if you have a car (or bus isn't too far).
I'm not sure what the campsites are like but I know there are about 3 i can think of in tje area.
LEstartit also seems to be popular but i don't know much about it, though I'd suspect it is similar to Lloret style.

If you are going as far south as Port Aventura, Cambrillas park is meant to be great for kids. They have loads of little bungalows.

Its about 2 hours from Girona so it could be a bit far

Can't offer any recommendations other than to shop around. Most providers will offer the same parks but prices can vary wildly.

We have for Eurocamp to be the most competitively priced in recent years and they have a number of parks around Girona.

Plenty of reviews around online I'm sure.

We went to La Scala last year, just north of Girona, had a great time, some great beaches, historical sites and little villages nearby.

El delfin Verde is a nice site in the area but quite isolated if you don't have a car. It has direct access to the beach though.
