I cant find the proper receipt (just to card receipt) Need to know if I paid vat on mot test for my van.. can anyone help? ok let me put it another way.. does one pay vat on mot test?

You are not allowed to claim the VAT back without the proper receipt so unless you find it it doesn't matter.
