Interesting stats in that article, the numbers look a lot more realistic than the ones we seem to get here. Cannabis has a higher use than tobacco, that's interesting. Any sign of Aussies legalising? It seems a lot of the world is going to wait for the US to make their move first, it would be a good idea for smaller nations to get one step ahead and take advantage while a lot of the bigger countries delay legalisation.

Gambling is crazy over here. Pokies (slot machines) everywhere. They've clubs called RSLs for the OAPs and literally have free buses that ship the OAPS there and back so they can blow all their savings on the pokies. TV is gambling advert after gambling advert. In Victoria they literally have a public holiday for the state because of a sodding horse race.

Are the 'pokies' guarded by steroid-ridden bouncers who are constantly on the lookout for the next randomer to pummel the sh1te out of?

The aul ones can get pretty cranky when they haven't had their chicken schnitzel and are on a losing streak. Bouncers need to be careful.
