    Thanks

Great for what it is. Won't get you to gutter height in a 2 storey though. Still, at that price, it's great value. I love those adjustable ladders that you can use on staircases for painting.

What height would i need to reach the gutters?

I have one from the last time they had them in and have found it very useful but as said, it wouldn't get you to the gutters on a two-storey house.

    Depends on your house.
My 2 story gutters are at 6 meters from the ground outside.

    Your information is very vague.
Is it good enough for what?
    How high is your house?
Ladders are extremely dangerous tools and you need to provide good info before anyone can advise you safely.

These sort of DIY adjustable ladders are best used at single storey level I think. The higher you go, the more stability you want in my experience. And ladders that are relatively lightweight with several sections - are not partic stable.

I have one of these ladders, I bought it specifically for use on the stairs/landing. It works a treat for this. It is also very useful as a general step ladder.

Regarding the dangers of using it on two storey buildings, it has a working height of just over 3metres, if what you want to do is within reach of this, it'll work. If not you'll need a bigger ladder.

There's probably no reason to make (I assume) fully grown adults aware that being up a ladder can be dangerous, I'm sure we all understand the dangers of falling from a height

If you're in a regular house, you've probably 8' celings up and down approx. Double this and add on a few feet for fascia board and joists so pretty much same as broken arrows at 6mtrs. Add on a meter for the stand-off and comfortable roof access if required. That'll do you front and back for painting & gutters anyway.

I've a 15 rung extension approx 4.5 mtr closed, which gets me to the apex at the side for paintwork.

    Thanks all.

I think I will go for it.
I want to use it for some paint work and may be do some work on the garage roof.
