I moved to Tesco mobile last month from Vodafone.
My phone was blocked to Vodafone so I got it unlocked.
The phone is out of reception for 90% of the time I can only make emergency calls but I can use mobile data as normal.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH IT ???

I left TM for similar reasons, regular breakdowns, useless service and customer care was a joke.

Did you perhaps break contract with Vodafone?

You may have roaming set to off. Tesco is a MVNO network, so you need to enable roaming to get coverage. Should be called national data roaming or something in your phone. No additional charge for this, you just "roam" on the 3 network.
