    Hi all,

Not sure what I did but my Linux Mint install is stuck on 100Mb speed.
    It's a HP Microserver N54L, I've seen it do 200 Mb+ before.

Plugging the cable into a Windows laptop instantly gives 250Mb+ speed.

I've messed around with ethtool but have only managed to break the settings altogether and had to revert to wifi.

Any suggestions for what I should try ?

    Output from ethtool eth0 below

    Settings for eth0:

Whatever you're plugged in to is only advertising up to 100Mb.
Have you changed anything else including the cable ?

    Thanks very much!
I plugged the cable and gave the network socket a good blast of Compressed air.
Back up to 200 Mb now :)
