Door security wages

Hi guys. Just arrived to Ireland again after a while and quickly landed a job that pays 11 an hour. Not terrible but not amazing either. It's a job.
However I have been interested in door security work and obtaining a PSA licence for a while now. While the job I have now is comfortable I would be interested in door security if it pays significantly more. By that I mean, 14 or more.
Is that the case? I understand you do get the night shift and sunday premiums for security work, right? My question is, how much does it pay for someone starting out? Is it more than 14 when you factor in the bonuses for working nights and sundays? If that's the case, I will obtain the PSA licence and do it. If not...oh well...it is how it is lol.

Basic pay is €10.75 per hour for adult security workers with 2 years in any employment (not necessarily security related). Some employers may pay more.

Hours worked in excess of an average 48 hours per week in the roster cycle will be paid at a rate of time and a half.

You are entitled to extra pay for certain hours (Sunday, after midnight) based on your employment contract.

Thx for the reply. What does it mean in practice though? 10.75 however most of the work is done during the night, you do work sundays..
Overall, it does add up I imagine. So in practice it does get up to 13 or 14, right? Or perhaps I'm reading it wrong?

An employer might only pay you 5% or 25% extra for those shifts. It will depend on what they offer.

Nice. Do you know about the company BCS security and how much they pay? Anyone knows anything about them? In their ads they cite 'top rates paid' whatever that is. Anyone worked for them before?
