Do you really need to spray grassland for rushes with M50 48 hours before rain?

I've had a field sprayed with M50 when there was no rain for days afterwards, and when it rained within hours. Didn't see much difference in the effect.

No once the spray dries so the rain can't wash it off you're in the clear.

Usually an hour or two depending on weather at the time breeze/sun etc...

Just a point to note it is not recommend to spray in extreme sunshine, advice is spray in morning or evening of such a day.

Around here sun is splitting the stones today so I wouldn't be going out spraying until after 6pm or so
