Clack M3 8 ltr hardness setting

Hi there, I recently got installed a Clack water softener (pretty sure it's the M3 - 8 litre and I can post a picture in case) in my 3 bed house, two people living here at the moment. It is great and super happy with the result so far!
I had to unplug it and wonder which are the correct hardness setting? I have no user manual (found one online but wasn't helpful) and before unplugging I checked them but I'm not sure they were back to the default ones? At the moment it's set at 400 and 2:0.
When the plumber was here I know he changed something but not sure what. I think he changed the 2 to 1.6 but no idea, and why I'd have that back to 2 before unplugging not sure either.
Anyone who knows what the correct standard setting should be in my case? The water is already half of the tank (if not over half) and I was expecting it to be lower. I also already tried to contact the company I used but no luck so far.
    Thanks!
