I have a hobby which I registered as a company with CRO some years ago as I had planned on making some extra cash at the time. Between the jigs and the reels it never really happened and most of my clients were friends so I never charged and then ill health put it on the back burner. Anyway I have just taken a client on who is paying me. How do I claim the extra income. It's not much and may end up being about 2k over a year.

If you are PAYE, then you declare it on a from 12 yearly return.

Are you intending on using the company or is the income in your own name? TBH if its only €2k, I would ignore the company and declare it on the Form 12 as previously mentioned
