Booked driving test

I have recently completed the 12 EDT's, so booked a driving test 3 week's ago. Is there a standard time for them to return with an appointment? I'm not looking for a cancellation spot so expecting it will be September time for it. Or is it confirmed automatically when booking and I've misread the emails?
