Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

DJI quadcopter distance question

I was just curious about the distance quoted from the likes of DJI regarding some of their higher spec drones, quoting distances of up to 4 or 5 km,

My question is is that achievable in Ireland even if the drone has the capabilities.

I read Europe has the most restrictions concerning drone flying.

And also any ideas how tough the restriction will get after the new firmware updates this week for the DJI range of aircraft..

You can legally only fly 300 metres, so no real point in looking at anything with stupidly long range.
