What car would you suggest?

I currently have a 2012 VW Scirocco which I love but thinking of changing purely to keep up with newer cars. Budget for new model would be circa €20k (including trade in).
I like the "sportier" type cars but want to move up to 142 or 151 model car.

Mileage isn't huge and mostly based in Dublin so a petrol model would more than likely be better.

There are plenty of premium brand cars that i would love but living in the real world for now.

What would you opt for if you had this choice? Stick with Scirocco or go with something different?

If you love it, why change? If you're dead set on changing, why not picking another Scirocco but newer?

If mileage is low and in Dublin:

    Edit
Sorry I thought you mentioned 20k plus car.....might be a bit out of price range but you have a year to save

That is an option of course as there are very few cars of that style on the market at the moment compared to a few years ago so just wanted to see what other people would recommend or suggest.

    Lovely car

I was in similar position to you but I had a A6

I had low mileage in Dublin area, Tesla wasn't out so I invested in VW E-Golf. Will keep me going for few years till I buy the Tesla :p
