I have had two runflat punchures repaired in the past. The first was on nearly new tyre and it went the rest
of its normal life span without any issues, second was the same day I ordered a new set of rear tyres :(
ended up running the the repaired tyre for about 4k KM before I had them replaced with the new ones.

all depends on where the punchure is and how you drive on it when its down. Both times i topped up the pressure
and drove slowly particularly when it was very low pressure, first one was a slow leak and got to repair place
with some pressure left in the tyre, second was a complete drop. went from 40psi to 0 in in about 30 seconds.
tried topping it up before heading to the garage but no use.

From what I remember it's not recommended to repair them but if the tyre wasn't driven on for long and the hole isn't near the sidewall you can plug it.

main dealers are very eager to replace tyres at the slightest hint of damage or uneven wear.
