Are women more 'nurturing' than men?

Whether biologically or socially (believe both but greatly influenced by latter), I think females are more nurturing.

I don't mean nurturing in the taking care of babies sense but in terms of being more caring and understanding in terms of relationships whether they be friendships, romantic relationships, parental relationships, teacher-student relationships.

Obviously we know a lot of women who are pretty damn violent and aggressive. But we always in society seem to attribute that to either growing up in a highly dysfunctional household/relationship, underlying signs of a mental illness/disorder, and/or substance abuse. Just look at that woman from Oxford. It was her abusive relationship people were focusing on. Had that been a man, people and most certainly the judge would have just dismissed it as a spoiled young guy who wasn't disciplined by his parents.

So going by things like that in society, do you think that our society socialized women to be more 'nurturing'/less agressive than men or is it mostly biologically inclined?

I think society is now socialising people to overexamine the minutia of gender ad nauseum to a point that it's just meaningless, like reading tea leaves or something.

    ......

Up to 8 out of 10 people are infected with the Tox., affects the behaviour of men and women differently

Since it's so widespread, maybe this what you notice

Thus, the men were more likely to disregard rules and were more expedient, suspicious, jealous, and dogmatic.

The personality of infected women, by contrast, suggests that they were more warm hearted, outgoing, conscientious, persistent, and moralistic
