Most efficient route from Galway to Newbridge?

I have to travel to Newbridge from Oranmore to in my 1.5 leaf this week. Would like to maybe make two stops only, if possible. I was thinking just a fast charge in Athlone and then another in Monasterevin. Is this doable if I take old Dublin road and onto the m7 after Athlone? Thanks.

176km? Surely you should be able to do that with just one stop in Athlone?

@ Unkle Depends on the location of the stop in relation to the final destination, and if charging is available at the destination.

Thanks for responses. No, they're won't be any charging at the destination so I want to make sure I have plenty of charge when I do get there as I need to go to Dublin city from there and would prefer not to have to charge until I reach my destination in Dublin.

Well in that case your plan of charging in Athlone and Monasterevin seems to be perfect

Out of interest/idle curiosity, would you be able to do that trip in one go in your ioniq?

Of course. You could probably even drive at the speed limit (120km/h), but you wouldn't have any juice left when you'd get to Newbridge. So if the onward journey is to Dublin, I'd fast charge once, for maybe 15 minutes at Kilbeggan. Haven't tried any of this, but that would be my plan if I did
