Fella reco tedder

    Hello is there anyone on here have any experience with a Fella Reco H800D tedder??? one for sale here and im afraid to take the plunge any information appreciated thanks in advance

    Are they reliable ? are parts easy got etc etc just wondering to buy or stay clear !!

    I use it for contracting. I find it good as the rotors are large and I prefer the straight tine but that's my preference.

    Might not be as strong looking as other machines but if driven with manners and watch what your doing on the road it's fine.

    Only issue I had with mine was a drive shaft was broke in it when I bought it but this was €100 to replace plus about 8 hours to fit as it was the middle shaft. Only other issue I had was the 4 bolts that hold on each arm to the centre section would come loose but that was after it was taken apart for repair. Next winter I tightened them well and they must have rusted a bit in place as they have never loosened since and that was about 2 years ago.

    Parts are got easy enough from farmec. Just look up your local stockist.

    If it's for own use and you mind it there's no reason it shouldn't give you years of service
