I keep forgetting the Confederations Cup is still a thing. Are Russia still brutal??
Mexico have both tournaments back to back. Could see them make the semi's of the first....jesus why has it a 3rd place play off too.
    No Tahiti this time :)

Germany are sending a third string team to Russia for the Confed Cup. The majority of the regular first teamers have been left out to have a full summer break, and the majority of the young Talents will be playing the U21 Euros instead.

Goalkeepers: Bernd Leno (Bayer Leverkusen), Marc-Andre ter Stegen (Barcelona), Kevin Trapp (PSG)

Defenders: Matthias Ginter (Borussia Dortmund), Jonas Hector (Cologne), Benjamin Henrichs (Bayer Leverkusen), Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich), Niklas Sule (Hoffenheim), Marvin Plattenhardt (Hertha Berlin), Skhodran Mustafi (Arsenal), Antonio Rudiger (AS Roma)

Midfielders/attackers: Julian Brandt (Bayer Leverkusen), Emre Can (Liverpool), Kerem Demirbay (Hoffenheim), Diego Demme (RB Leipzig), Julian Draxler (PSG), Leon Goretzka (Schalke), Sebastian Rudy (Hoffenheim), Leroy Sane (Manchester City), Lars Stindl (Borussia Monchengladbach), Sandro Wagner (Hoffenheim), Timo Werner (RB Leipzig), Amim Younes (Ajax)

As third team squads go that's pretty tasty!

The Confed Cup is on ITV so that's something to look forward to (unless you can't get ITV - does anyone here have it?)

ITV can be found on Sky+ through the Other Channels option - press the Services button, select "Options" and then "Other Channels" (as far as I can remember).

Admittedly, that information isn't much use to anyone without Sky :o
