    Hey all

Is it possible to go into minus when using bus eireann?

I tried it before but it didnt work, i think i was going too far into minus though, so i didnt know if its possible with going into a small minus amount.

Basically i have €10.76 balance at the mo and ive to buy a ticket later which costs €10.80. Will it work or will the bus driver say i dont have enough?

I know with Dublin bus it wouldn't be an issue.

    Any help is appreciated.

Think you're allowed go up to a fiver into the red, regardless of the operator.

    It should be fine.

You're allowed to go up to a fiver in the red as long as you are in positive balance before you try and use the ticket.
