3 inch Dual action plate wont fit

    Hello Guys.
    I just bought a 3 inch DA backing plate online but the bolt is small. Anyone can help me out what do i need so it will fit? Thanks

    Picture attached with the 5 inch and 3 inch (small bolt) backing plates.

    You need a backing plate with the correct size thread! For most Detailing DA's that is 5/16"

    Smaller pad is M6, the larger one is 5/16"

    It's written on them!

    The closest thing to 5/16" in metric, AFAIK, is M8, not M6.....my guess is, that, the label on the disc is a single print for dual purpose, and it should have a tick in the box to what it is, either an M6 thread or a 5/16" thread....as your label is unchecked, Im assuming its M6
    If that makes sense?

    I will just look for a 5/16 thread. The cost of disc is not too much but the shipping is always a rip off coming from the uk. I check detailingshed but its out of stock.
