21-05-2017 6:43pm#1NASRPC would like to take the opportunity to wish the best of luck to everyone competing at the annual Phoenix Meeting being held by the NRA, in Bisley Shooting Grounds, Surrey, England.
As usual there will be plenty of individuals travelling from Ireland to compete and we are also fielding four Irish Teams in International Events.- GRSB1500 - Smallbore Gallery Rifle 1500
- GRCF1500 - Centrefire Gallery Rifle 1500
- TSGM - Target Shotgun Manual
- TSGS - Target Shotgun Semi
After The Phoenix Meeting, the next leg on the International circuit will be the NASRPC Irish Open and IGRF World Cup, being held in MNSCI the 6/7/8/9 July.
Following the final heat for Team Selection, NASRPC are proud to announce the teams that will represent Ireland and the NASRPC in the British leg of the IGRF International series, in Bisley later this month.
The teams are:
GRSB 1500- Daniel O Flaherty : Captain
- Ray Holohan
- Mike Nestor
- Len Regan
- Jeff Kehoe
GRCF 1500- Jeff Kehoe
- Mike Nestor
- Mike Kelly
- Len Regan
- Pat Grimes
Should substitutes be needed, the first substitute, for both teams, is Declan Byrne.
All team members and substitutes have confirmed their availability.
These are very strong, cohesive, teams – with some very good shooting by all members this year.
This year at the Phoenix meeting in Bisley will see the inaugural competition of the International Target Shotgun Federation (ITSF).
Ireland will be entering teams in both the Semi and Manual classes with both teams taking part in each of the following:- Embassy Cup
- Timed & Precision 1
- Multi Target
- 100m and
- 200m
