I was just wondering if you didn't get the final answer in a question right but you got most of the question right (like used the correct formula etc) do you still get marks?

Yes, of course you do. Have a look at some past maths marking schemes and you'll see that answers are graded on a scale. For example, for a 10 mark question, you can get 6 to 8 marks for writing down the correct formula, filling in the numbers etc but not getting the right answer. If you just make a slight calculation error that results in the incorrect answer, you can get 9 marks.
