Graduate Job Search Statistics

I have a close relative that has recently finished their final exams in college.

They do not have a job lined up.
They are not very motivated/pushed to find a job.
I do not think that they are aware of the challenge ahead.

To acquire my first I job I made 28 applications, and done 7 interviews over a three month period.
I remember looking at job statistics at the time and this was around the average number of applications/interviews for a graduate to find a job.

I can't find similar statistics today.

Does anyone have a good website/article that would have this kind of information?
