I'm looking for an acoustic artist to play the day after our wedding.

    Date - 25th august
    Time - 9-11/11.30pm
Location - Cabra Castle Hotel, Cavan

Anyone any advice on who to contact or where to start looking?

    Thanks for reading

I've no idea but you'll probably get more advice/recommendations if you give some guidance on the type of artist you have in mind

Violin, piano, saxophone, harp, guitar, drums, triangle.... etc.

What suits your taste and the venue?

    They already said acoustic guitar....

OP, what kind of music, what's the venue like, what's your budget etc?

Sorry but I can't see where they said guitar...

I'm looking for someone to play acoustic guitar.

The venue is a castle but it's for after a BBQ so will be quite relaxed. Easy going music, nothing too sombre. A mixture of modern and older music.

My budget is €150 - €200 but will consider other offers.

Just a couple of suggestions, OP:

Up your budget or keep a fairly low expectation of the quality you'll get. €200 would be the minimum you'd pay for someone worth having.

Throw out a few examples of the type of music you're looking for (just to save yourself time saying no to people!)

Try the weddings forum as well as here; you might get a good recommendation!
