Hi guys I've a 08 Mondeo and I've an intermittent issue with my lhs indicator. I need to replace the stalk. I've been searching online for a guide but no joy. The UK ford forum is impossible to join for some reason. Any help much appreciated

To answer my own question you'll need a T15 and T20 plus 7mm socket
Underneath the steering wheel remove the cowl using 7mm socket and T20 torx bit. It's a little awkward as you have to be on your back underneath the steering wheel.
When the bottom section is loose remove the top section. There are two clips holding bottom and top cowl together just insert a flat blade screwdriver.
Holding the indicator stalk into the column are two T15 or T10 torxs I'm not sure which. Remove them. There's a little plug on dashboard side of assembly carefully unplug that. There's a clip to the side of it that needs to be pushed in.
The stalk itself pulls out towards the passenger door just be careful as there's several delicate pins. You'll see what I mean on removal.
To reinstall is the reverse. Hope this helps somebody
