    Got one of these last year takes forever to charge , need to charge overnight otherwise useless , is this normal?

    Seems to be, mine takes ages and when you consider modern technology with litium batteries .... its a pretty bad deal. As I said in the golf apps thread, I now use the motocaddy app on my phone most of the time. I dont like the idea of charging them overnight as we had a house fire a few years ago and nothing is left plugged in anymore. Its unlikely an S2 would cause a fire, but rest assured if you are leaving items charging unattended overnight ... then theres every chance your insurance company will take it into account.

    I've the same issue with mine. It works fine on the course but never tells me when it's fully charged. Garmin replaced it no problem but the new one is the same.

    Thanks , its works great once charged but high maintenance...
