Hi, I was changing a diesel filter on my 06 1.5DCi scenic and found this water temp sensor hanging down with insulation tape over the probes ! It doesnt seem to be a Renault part but a Nissan part. I dont see a location for it to fit. Any help ?

the Renault part number is 7701062329, but nissan have the same engine so not an issue. could be a level not temp sensor, might go in the bottom of the diesel filter? if you didn't take out there must a a second one installed and not connected?

I believe it is the sensor for the windscreen washer bottle level.

Ok, I'll have a better look , this was connected, it has 2temp probes on it that were taped over. Couldn't see anywhere it could go or a similar probe not connected.
