right so i recently just passed my D licence driving test and I need to get a medical done, I paid 60 squid for the last one when I got my learner permit the end of last year, which I was told the medical lasts for 6 months which I'm still within that 6 months, I told the NDLS this an they said nope you need a new medical done 50-60 squid for some jackass to sign off on is a joke.

so anyone know anywhere in Dublin that does medicals cheaper than that? down the country is priced at 20-30 squid. don't really wanna travel down there just to get that done.
so if any of ya know where in Dublin that I can get it done for in around 20-40 squid can you send us on the info?

    thanks in advance,much appreciated

If you're going to pop into a Health Science forum to look for help, it might be a good idea to not insult those in a position to help you.

Nevertheless, you'd be lucky to get anyone to do it below 50 that I'm aware of, in Dublin at least.

get your facts straight first before you comment like that. there was no attempt of help at all from the post your talking about.

Where I was trying to be helpful, was in suggesting that you'll struggle to find a GP to see a new patient for a driving licence medical for less than €50 in Dublin. That's the going rate in Dublin, or thereabouts.

Practically speaking, and without first hand knowledge, I imagine practices in more socially deprived areas would have cheaper rates, so contacting surgeries in those areas would be your best bet.

that's all well an good but when you mentioned about insulting people that gave/giving help which there was none what so ever other than p*ss taking. then when I react to that I get told I'm in the wrong. some people are not living in the real world. anyways.
yes I know most of Dublin is at that price but I am just looking to see if there is any in Dublin that is cheaper like there is in other counties outside of Dublin which I've been told was 20-40 quid. at the end of the day its only a look over an sign the form to say your ok health wise,50-65 is borderline extortion tbh.

I know one area that is "more socially deprived" an that doctor doesn't do cheaper than 50.

You started a thread and called doctor's jackasses. That is insulting the people you want to get help from.
