Taking the middle rate of ?45/mo thats a turnover of 1.6M pa, small enough operation.

Sounds very like the Imagine vs Motorola dispute which was unfortunately settled in private.

    Tuesday: Avanti shut them off
    Wednesday: Silence
    Thursday: Silence
Friday: Somebody calls liveline, Suddenly Quinn is all about getting customers reconnected. Why didnt you send a bulk SMS on wednesday Niall? Does a good interview but I see that as pretty underhanded. "We couldnt email them" is a bit of sh?te excuse.

Irish satellite broadband company Q Sat is to close down after its connectivity provider Avanti Communications ended its contract with the company.

Avanti signed a seven year deal with Q Sat, which is chaired by former Arsenal and Sunderland footballer Niall Quinn, in 2012 to provide satellite broadband capacity. The deal was worth up to ?13.6m but the Irish company has failed to pay its bills according to two people familiar with the situation.

Around 3,000 Q Sat customers will be cut off as a result and have been advised to switch services to Bentley Walker, a rival satellite broadband provider that also uses Avanti capacity.

Q Sat?s switchboard has been turned off however and Irish customers have inundated Avanti?s contact centre as a result.

Not sure about the switchboard being off, I spoke to someone earlier on, maybe 2 or 3 mins of a wait.
