    Hi,
I am moving into a new apartment.
For now, i know that there is electric Ireland connected.
I would be happy to set up an account with you very soon but I would like to know if any deposit is required?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi KasiaLo,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

Customers who are registering with Electric Ireland can either pay a 300 euro security deposit, sign up for direct debit or agree to install a Smarter Pay As You Go meter at the property.

New customers who pay by direct debit or apply for a Smarter Pay As You go meter, can avail of a 175 euro switching bonus. Direct debit customers can get further savings in addition to the switching bonus. For more information, please see here: https://electricireland.ie/switch

If you have any further queries, please let us know, we're happy to help.

    Thanks,
    Alex
