Forgot adding county to my address. Will it arrive?

Hi guys,

Bought some tickets from Ticketmaster that have been already sent out 2 or 3 days ago. I realised I forgot to add the county to the address, but I did add the Eircode thankfully. Do you think it might arrive or have you been in a similar situation?

My address would be in this format:

<Townland>
<Town>
<Eircode>

An Post don't use counties and afaik Ticketmaster use an post. They use towns and townlands and the eircode.

Where the auto address reader shows a doubt, the address is checked manually.

Also as the eircode is specific to you address alone, using just the eircode and nothing else would still see it being delivered.

There are lots of newspaper articles about post getting to people with very minimal addresses on them.

There is nothing to worry about anyway, if you do not arrive you tell ticketmaster and you usually collect new ones at the box office of the venue on the night, and have to show ID, the orginials are cancelled as the barcode is known and made invalid on their system.

Fingers crossed they show up. Tickets are for the buses to Slane for Guns n Roses on the 27th so if they are not here by Monday evening, I'll give TicketMaster a buzz.

An Post are very good. You'll have no issues.

Quite recently I had an item delivered from the Netherlends with basically "L1011, Ancient Aircraft Graveyard, Maynooth" on it. No county or country.

It wasn't even appreciably delayed! If the address isn't massively non unique it isn't going to cause any delay; and they can/will check the eircode if required.

Ticketmaster sometimes delay tickets until closer to an event due to people losing them if sent out months in advance.
