I am a student in BIFE at Bray in Co.Wicklow studying a level 6 HND graphic design course in 1st year. The length of the course lasts for 2 years with a total of 16 subjects in it. I am not going to pass 1st year at the 1st attempt because the amount of work in 1st year was quite big to complete in full. I had submitted work to some subjects throughout the year but the rate of submission in this year was slow.

I want to ask about continuing payments on BTEA.

Should I repeat the year to continue receiving BTEA for next year?

What will happen to me if I decide to drop out of the course altogether?

I live in Blackrock in Dublin. My local social welfare office is in Dun Laoghaire.

    Thanks.
